Women began joining trade unions in 1874, and extraordinary progress has been made for women in the workplace since then. Despite these welcome changes, barriers and inequalities still remain.
Unequal pay, discrimination, sexual harassment and a lower likelihood of promotion are an unfortunate reality for too many women.
At Community, equality is at the core of our mission to create a better working world.
