Community in Westminster
Through Community’s founding unions, we have been an affiliate of the Labour Party since its creation, more than 125 years ago. Since then, Community members have served as elected representatives in local, national and devolved politics, upholding our values and fighting for a better working world.
Community maintains a strong voice in the UK Parliament. We have a large parliamentary group in Westminster that drives our political campaigns. Together, we are working to improve legislation and government policy on a wide range of issues including workplace rights, industrial renewal, and social justice.
