We know that, as inflation and the cost-of-living continues to rise, many of our members are increasingly feeling the pinch. We will continue to work to support our members through this increasingly difficult time, especially in workplaces where we are the recognised union.
Community have worked with Zurich on how we can best support our members and their employees. From these discussions, the company have agreed to make a cost-of-living payment.
For those on Grade 1 and 2, they will receive £1,000 over the rest of the year. Grade 3 employees will receive £750, and Grade 4 and Engineer Surveyors will receive £500.
This is separate from any usual salary reviews discussions, which will continue to take place later in the year.
