WULF funding success

Today, we wanted to share with you some fantastic news that we have received from within our Welsh region. Learning Organiser Lisa Francis is pleased to announce that the WULF (Welsh Union Learning Fund) project has secured its funding for the period of 2025 – 2028. Lisa is also extremely pleased to announce that she has managed to increase her funding by £12,000.

This is some superb news to close the year, and as we move into 2025 it will ensure that we are able to continue to provide and support members across Wales to access training, development and opportunities that previously weren’t possible.

The numbers speak for themselves: our current project has had over 3060 number of individuals accessing WULF funding with a further 3655 being signposted to other funding schemes or for further support with external agencies. This is a brilliant achievement, but with these recent developments we hope that we will not only be able to continue this trend but increase these numbers even further, supported by Lisa’s hard work in securing additional funding.

From mental health first aid training to health and safety courses, from key skills to coaching and mentoring, we are here to support our members to achieve their dreams or realise their potential. If you or any of your members have any interests in undertaking training or securing additional support to obtain further training, please contact Lisa on: learnwales@community-tu.org

If you are a member of Community and need advice or support, please contact our Service Centre at help@community-tu.org or on 0800 389 6332.
