Health and safety

No matter where you work, everyone has the right to working in a safe workplace. However, even to this day, workers and employees are injured, become ill and even, in extreme cases die at work because of poor health and safety standards, unsuitable personal protective equipment (PPE) and a lack of health and safety policy.

Employers and government are slow to recognise the health and safety issues that workers and employees face, and that’s where we come in.

At Community, we fight alongside our members and Health and Safety Reps to ensure comprehensive health and legislation, and policy is implemented across UK workplaces, and represent the interests and safety of our members, their work and their sector.
