Health and social care

We know that people working within health and social care face a rapidly changing work environment. These changes can be brought about because of new regulations, new medicines and a changing way of doing things. We are here to represent and support workers in the sector through these changes. This includes those working in care and support, therapy, health care institutions, hospitals, surgery staff and dentists.

We know that workers in this sector are often overworked, underpaid and working alone. The pandemic has shown us just how vital your work is. We want to deliver a living wage for everyone in health and social care as well as ensure employers and government recognise the value and concerns of health and social care workers.

Our specialist health and social care officers, trained representatives and regional teams are all dedicated to fighting for you and fighting for your sector. Common issues we represent our health and social care members for includes payhours worked, assault at work and health and safety.
