As part of our commitment to supporting our members through times of need, we run a hardship fund.
The fund is designed to assist members who are in severe financial hardship. Donations are made to those with exceptional needs when state support is insufficient or not available. Using the fund we aim to help members who are facing immediate financial difficulties, for example, a member who is suffering from ill-health, whose earnings are impacted, and who can’t afford to pay rent.
To apply, you will need to be a paying member of Community and have at least 12 months continuous union membership. To begin your application, you will need to log on and complete the registration form here. If you are struggling to access it, please contact us.
All of Community’s benefits and services, including the hardship fund, are available, only, to all paying members of the union.
