Focusing on equalities

In the autumn issues of our sector magazines, we focus on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

Community is committed to helping to create working environments and cultures where every individual can feel safe, with a sense of belonging, and feel empowered to achieve their full potential – where you can bring your whole, true, authentic self to work.

Equality and diversity go beyond the legal aspects and encompass the wellbeing of everyone, demonstrating how organisations and employees can learn about how to do better by each other.

Promoting equality and diversity in the workplace is important because it creates a positive work environment that values talent beyond stereotypes. It helps people reach their potential by contributing their best beyond any prejudice.

If you feel there is something more Community could be doing to help your workplace, do let us know, or if EDI is a passion of yours and you want to get more involved as an Equality Rep – or as a Workplace Rep or in another role – do contact us and to find out more.
