Voice Community cautiously welcomes the announcement from the four Chief Medical Officers of the United Kingdom, that they are recommending one dose of a COVID vaccine.
Should minsters follow this recommendation, we believe that this would help to keep our members safe and to reduce the potential for disruption to children’s learning, including the necessity to close schools.
However, it is important that any vaccine roll-out is sufficiently well resourced and staffed to ensure that it does not also cause disruption within schools.
