Change or reset your password

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it via your MyMembership account. You will use this password to access a number of member-exclusive Community benefits, including financial support, Union Lawyers and Community Offers.

How to create your MyMembership account

You may not be able to log in simply because you haven’t generated your online account yet. This takes less than a minute.

  1. Access create your account.
  2. Enter your membership details as well as your password into the relevant fields.
  3. Click ‘Next’.
  4. Once your details have been confirmed, your MyMembership account will be created.

How to reset your password

  1. Click ‘reset password‘.
  2. Enter your username under the ‘I have forgotten my password’ field.
  3. Click ‘Reset’. This will send a reset password email to the email address on your account.
  4. Open the email and click the unique link to reset your password.
  5. Choose a password that you haven’t already used with this account.
  6. Click ‘Reset’, then you can login using your new password.

If you change or reset your password, you may be signed out of other devices which are logged into your MyMembership account. You will need to log in using your new login details.

How to change your password

  1. Login.
  2. Click ‘change my login details‘.
  3. Enter your existing password.
  4. Enter your new password.
  5. Confirm your new password.
  6. Click change.

You will then be able to login using your new password.

How to reset your username and password

  1. Click ‘reset password‘.
  2. Enter your surname and membership number.
  3. Click ‘Reset’. This will send a reset password email to the email address on your account.
  4. Open the email and click the unique link to see your username and reset your password.
  5. Choose  a password that you haven’t already used with this account.
  6. Click ‘Reset’, then you can login using your new password.

  1. Login.
  2. Click ‘change my login details‘.
  3. Enter your new username.
  4. Click change.

You will then be able to login using your new username.

Forgot your membership number?

Your membership number will be located on your Community membership card, or included at the top of email communications from us to you. If you cannot locate this, please contact our membership team at membership@community-tu.org or on 0800 389 6332.
