Andy is Policy and Practice Manager for Young Carers and Young Adult Carers at Carers Trust.

He has over 13 years’ experience of raising awareness and seeking to improve support for young carers on a local, national and international level. In March 2022, Andy launched the Young Carers Alliance, a network of over 140 organisations and 350 individuals who are committed to improving the support available for young carers, young adult carers and their families.
