Regional Teams
Community has dedicated full-time officers and organisers in every region and nation of the UK. Our regional teams are here to support you at work and beyond and work together on behalf of members to organise and promote the union’s local and national objectives, including:
- Negotiating and bargaining priorities and strategies
- Representing members
- Ensuring members are fairly represented in the branch structure with delegation to events
- Organising and recruiting in workplaces
- Tackling harassment and discrimination
- Education, training and upskilling opportunities
Community’s Regional Secretaries and National Secretaries oversee each of our regions. Our Regional Organisers oversee the union’s strategic work, recruit members, support negotiations with employers and work with the Regional or National Secretary to implement national policy across their region.
