Representative roles

It is Community Reps who are on the ground who support members with issues at work, talk to and negotiate with employers, and continue to get the message out about our union and how we can protect and support people at work. Being a union Representative is rewarding and many of the skills you will develop as a rep are transferable to your professional life.

There are a number of different Rep roles as part of a union branch. Everyone works together to support members and make changes in the workplace. Find out more about our different roles and what they involve.

Already a rep? Visit our RepCentre to access resources and training.
