Pay rise for HMP Kilmarnock members

Community Scotland has negotiated a pay award for HMP Kilmarnock staff of up to 10.8% plus an additional 1-3 days’ annual leave entitlement for those with long service.

Following a ballot with a 70% turnout, 76% of members voted in favour of the deal.

Regional Secretary Steve Farrell said:

“This is an excellent result for our members, following the hard work of Branch Reps Jonathan Stubbs and Jimmy Hayter in negotiating the deal”.
