Today, Richard Tice from Reform UK has announced plans to introduce a “Great Repeal Bill” that will scrap Labour’s Employment Rights Bill, as well as rent reforms.
Alasdair McDiarmid, Assistant General Secretary of Community Union said:
Reform are showing exactly who they are, and it is not a party that stands with working people. They would rip up the hard-won rights secured through Labour’s Employment Rights Act and drag workers’ protections backwards
It’s clear as day that Nigel Farage has shown he doesn’t care about maternity leave for women. He doesn’t care about good pay for good work. He doesn’t care about the hard-working people of the UK.
The working people of this country deserve better than this bonfire of rights being proposed by Reform.
