United communities present a nightmare for those who seek to spread hate and division, because in places where people look out for each other, trust one-another and work together to solve the challenges that a community faces, there are fewer opportunities for them to divide neighbour from neighbour.
But strong, united communities aren’t built overnight. They are the product of people coming together to build a sense of inclusion that makes a particular place a home for everyone. That’s why we’re supporting HOPE Not Hate to nominate our HOPE Heroes.
The aim of this Award is simple: we want to find those people and give them and their work the attention they deserve and a cash prize to help them continue.
We call those making our communities great places to live and building resilience against the far right, HOPE Heroes.
