Away from the drama at Number 10, the lives of our members continue. While the Tory party obsesses over the Boris Johnson’s future, tens of millions of people across the country are worried about their own future and their ability to make ends meet.
The Conservatives are going to spend the summer focusing on sorting out their Party, while the British people are facing one of the worst cost-of-living crises the nation has faced in decades.
The Conservatives have been in office for over twelve years as they have driven our economy off a cliff and living standards for working people have cratered.
We need a government that stands up for working people, where our communities can flourish and no one is left behind. Whoever occupies Number 10, we will continue to speak up and fight for our members across workplaces and communities. We cannot have months of political paralysis as people continue to struggle.
