BADN Community recognises the loyalty of long-standing members through our long-service membership badges.
How does eligibility work?
Only completed years of active membership count towards your long-service badge. Breaks of up to two years between memberships are permitted, meaning your previous membership years can still be included. However, the time spent outside membership does not count.
Example Scenario
A member joined in September 2015 and remained active until September 2018, completing three years of membership. They then took a break and rejoined in June 2019.
As the gap was less than two years, their previous membership still counts.
By June 2020, they had completed four years of active membership. They would therefore become eligible for their five-year long-service badge in June 2021, provided their membership remained active.
Please note that BADN Community reserves the right to decline a claim without giving a reason.
