Joint Advice on School Teachers’ Pay in England 2021-22

The Government has confirmed its proposals to freeze pay for the vast majority of teachers and school leaders in England.  The only exceptions to this freeze will be some 6,000 unqualified teachers earning below the pay freeze threshold. This represents around one per cent of the teaching workforce.

We set out here our organisations’ joint advice on the pay scales to be adopted for the school year 2021-22.
