Independent Welsh Pay Review Body response

Commenting on the Independent Welsh Pay Review Body: third report 2021 and the Cabinet Statement Report and recommendations from the Independent Welsh Pay Review Body (IWPRB),  Deborah Lawson, Assistant General Secretary of Community Union (Voice Community education section), said:

“While we welcome the prompt publication of the report and the inclusion of portability, the 1.75% increase is disappointing – and falls short of the 2.7% Voice Community asked for – when teachers and head teachers have worked so hard with massively increased workloads during the pandemic.”
