We are very pleased to have secured a 6% pay increase back-dated from April 1st 2022 for our members in refuelling for Menzies Aviation at London City Airport.
We have also managed to secure each of our members a £2000 one-off bonus.
A huge thank you to Community reps who were involved with the talks. It is due to their hard work that we have secured this result. The more members we have, the stronger our negotiating position will be so please continue to encourage your colleagues to join if they have not done so already.
The cost-of-living crisis is being felt by each one of us. You will be all too familiar with the dreaded envelopes coming through the door, telling you of massive rises in the prices for energy and heating.
Food, electricity, national insurance, petrol, it’s all costing more. It is on us, as trade unions, to be fighting for those better pay deals to give our members the financial security they deserve.
