Making our towns and cities prosperous

This morning, Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves addressed Labour Party Conference in Liverpool.

Kate Dearden, Head of Research, Policy and External Relations at Community, said:

“Investment in businesses here in the UK would see our towns and cities prosperous once again. With that, we’d see a boom in highly-skilled, good quality jobs right across the country. That is the industrial revival our country needs.

Labour’s policy is exactly what our members have been crying out for. It’s a proper plan to tackle the issues that matter to all of us – the climate, growing our economy and ensuring wealth is shared across the country.”
