Young workers development weekend

Full of inspiration, opportunity, education and networking, the General Federation of Trade Unions has places available for young Community members, aged 18 to 27 to develop their skills, gain knowledge and create links with other trade unions at their next development weekend for young workers on 3 to 5 November 2023.

Sorry this course is now full, however if you leave us your contact details on the form below, we will let you know when the next course is available.

During the event you can expect to meet like-minded young workers, develop your skills and knowledge of what trade unions are and do, find out where you stand with your employment rights and the wider political work being undertaken by young people. You might even make some new friends!

This weekend is free to attend, including hotel and meals when you apply through Community. In addition, we also pay for any reasonable travel/subsistence expenses incurred for members we place on development.
