Formerly a secondary school teacher, and married to a primary school deputy head teacher, Martin writes about a wide range of education topics including curriculum, exams and assessment and inspection and you can hear him chatting about them in the Education Policy Podcast. Away from his desk Martin enjoys reading, walking, theatre and playing the piano.
