Xpro Community is for a better life after sport. We’re here for all former sports professionals, whether you’re still working in sport, you’ve moved onto new things or you’re retired. Be part of the team that helps each other – join now.
Ex-professional players know what it feels like to be part of a team. It’s the same when you’re in a union—people look out for one another. Xpro Community is here for your whole working life, your retirement and your life after sport. Whether you’re employed, self-employed or retired, we’re always just a phone call or email away.
We’ve been supporting people in the football family for many years. Now we’re reaching out to ex-pros across sport so we can help with the issues you face once you’ve hung up your boots…
Xpro Community is a partnership between Xpro Life After Sport and the Community trade union, offering help, advice, guidance and representation to former sports professionals.
By joining Xpro Community you’ll be protected at work or have a place to turn to in retirement.
Here are a few of the ways we help our members:
When you leave the pitch for the last time, you can be all too easily forgotten. Some issues affect ex-pros more than other people. Take osteoarthritis or image rights. Two different issues but ones that can be important for many former players. It’s not easy to get answers on your own or know who to turn to.
We want to change that! But we need your help…
We want to build two campaigns to push osteoarthritis and image rights up the political, media and football family agenda.
It might not be easy and it might take some time but together we can make a difference..
By joining Xpro Community, you’ll be joining a network of fellow ex-professionals, with one goal to help each other and create a better life after sport.
Our Xpro Community volunteers will be on hand to signpost you to the right places. But that’s not all… being part of a modern trade union means there will be lots more benefits of joining.
