It’s also a key to succeeding in our ever-changing working world, where flexible skill development is vital. That’s why we have an in-house education team based around the UK, dedicated to supporting our members access learning, training and education.

If you have been impacted by redundancy or have been placed on the government’s Job Retention Scheme (furlough), we have a range of advice and support to help you get back into work.

Reskilling is vital because it boosts your chances of getting another job by improving your skills, qualifications and employability; provides a chance to change career and build confidence in your ability to find new work.

We can help you work through friendly online learning programmes, support with online resources, with webinars and workshops developed and delivered in specific sites and regions, and with 1:1 tutorials. Our redundancy support is tailored and free-of-charge.

  • Help you set up an email address and access the internet
  • Arrange for English, maths and digital training
  • Training on CV writing, completing an online job application, letter writing, interviews (virtual and face to face) and job search techniques. We can help you build a professional, fully formatted CV from scratch free of charge.
