Accounting for Attention Differences (ADD/ADHD) (Wales Only)

Join us on the 7th June 6pm-8pm for this free event for anyone living in Wales.

This course was created to dispel some myths commonly associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and to enable people to better understand why those with Attention Differences might struggle to take in, retain and/or recall information, complete tasks and maintain focus.

All of the above is essential for progression in education and in the workplace. In this session we also discuss the social model of disability, Executive Dysfunction, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria and Oppositional Defiant Disorder as many people with Attention Differences also have issues with one or more of the above. We then focus on adaptations which help with executive functioning issues, and adjustments which can help participants better understand and even reduce instances of RSD and ODD for those with Attention Differences in their life.

This course is essential for all who interact with people who have Attention Differences, but is especially useful for teachers and other school staff, police officers, prison staff, the judiciary, Clinicians and general NHS staff. This course is a must for all staff who deal with members of the general public.
