Community reps in the North of England recently took part in upskill training, allowing them to support their members whilst on the move.
The training was part of a new initiative aiming to give reps the tools to support their members in more flexible ways, giving them remote access to the information they need to help their colleagues.
“It’s been really successful” said Community Regional Organiser Matthew Cooke “The reps have been really receptive, asking lots of questions and engaging with our plans for the future.
“We’re always looking for new ways to support our members, and giving our reps the right tools for the job is just the first step.”
Community offers bespoke training for reps, to make sure they have everything they need to make a difference in the workplace. Current training includes ensuring reps are up to speed on GDPR and data protection as well as Community’s secure rep-only website, which provides up to date member information.
