Community expands its Health and Safety team

Community - 2nd August 2019

“You could save lives…”

Community recently held its latest health and safety training course at its training centre in Earls Barton.

The bespoke course trains reps on workplace health and safety, carrying out surveys, and working with employers to locate hazards and identify solutions.

Newly trained Community reps with their certificates

Speaking after the training, Community’s Health and Safety Officer Rob Sneddon said “We regularly see a high attendance on these courses, and it’s great to see positive engagement and new ideas being brought to every session.

“Whether you work in a factory filled with chemicals or an office block, having a Community health and safety rep on site makes all the difference when it comes to getting home safe after every shift.

“To any Community member looking to make a difference for themselves and their colleagues, consider becoming a health and safety rep, you could save lives.”

Nobody knows the dangers of the job quite like the workers, Community ensures that it’s members have the tools they need to keep their workplace safe.
